Why do you want to judge someone? Why do you want to make them feel less worthy based on their
appearance, choices or opinions? Just why?
It hurts me to know that people judge people for just being themselves. You're you. No one can take that away
from you. You're not here to please anyone. Sometimes, you need to prioritize yourself. Everyone has
insecurities, even I myself have insecurities and there are days when I don't feel too good about myself. I think
every girl my age has at least once, felt insecure of their appearance and their bodies. I just want to say that all
bodies are beautiful. We should all remove the concept of having the 'ideal' type of body. No, model like bodies
aren't perfect if that's what's your wondering.
I don't really know in depth of what a boy my age would be going through, but from what I understated, even
guys have insecurities. They feel they need to be more muscular, to be better at sports, have a heavier voice. ,
When all their friends are growing taller, they feel left out. And they have many more such insecurities. Young
boys are often taught or told that boys don't cry. The fact that some people even have the audacity to say that
to someone is raging. Everyone DESERVES to feel. Everyone deserves to let out their emotions.
Why can't or why shouldn't they cry? It makes them look weak? In my opinion, letting out your emotions is one
of the bravest things one can do. It takes courage to allow yourself to feel. So, the whole idea of toxic
masculinity begins right there.
Loving yourself is an art. Before expecting anyone else to accept you for the way you are, you need to accept
yourself, you need to accept your flaws. Someone once asked me when have I felt the strongest. I answered by
saying that the moment I realized that it's okay to be not okay, it's OKAY to feel vulnerable. The moment I
acknowledged my vulnerabilities, I think that's when I've felt the strongest. Let people live. Let people do what
they want to. Let them do what makes THEM happy, and you do what makes YOU happy. For a matter of fact,
you cannot please everyone all the time. There will be someone who will hate you. Life's too short to care
about what people think about you, might as well be authentic and enjoy it:)
